In case you haven't been following the silliness about the stolen petitions in the third ward, go check out this post over at the TU. A commentor raises some questions about the validity of Mr. Bailey's claims. This is Mr. Bailey's response.
we have 28 committee people in the 3rd ward 24 are hard working democratic we were out on the first day 9 am to 9pm in shifts .

the broken car glass was heard around 2:30am we foundit at 8:30am ms feasther was out at11;30am saying that i drop out when it had not hit the media she said i lost my petitions,we the voters went out and got more petitions signed that is what the people of the 3rd ward did now thats the factsee the news on cbs6on saturday nite
That comment, written by a man who has been accusing other people of serious crimes with no evidence, is from the "mayor's candidate". This is the level of professionalism Jennings likes to have in the people who run the city.

Any questions?

Mr. Bailey is endorsed by the city democratic committee and is the mayor's man for the third. I'm beginning to see why we have such serious budget problems in this city. Mr. Bailey's post above is defending his earlier comment about how Feaster was out "2 hours later" getting petitions. He defends this point by saying they found out about the crime at 8:30 and she was petitioning at 11:30.

I know most people don't like word problems but can anyone see the problem with Mr. Bailey's math?

Now some people might understand why I have a problem with the fact that the head of DGS, who had a budget of tens of millions of dollars, never went to college.

Running a city isn't rocket science. But you have to be able to do basic math.

Bailey left another comment in that TU thread:

do any of you live in the 3rd ward you seem to know how we should live and you surly agree that it is alright to steal and break in cars why don't you move to the 3rd ward so that we can feel safe.

Of course, none of the other commenters in that thread said anything like what he is responding to.  But why should that stop him.

The only other person in this city who writes that badly for the public's consumption is Betty. Go figure.

I have no idea. But don't blame AHS for Betty's antics.

Face reality: Jennings wants weak people in key positions. Ask yourself why.

That's both bad management and classic alcoholic behavior....again.
