And don't try to use your political cronies to rig the system when you are up against Calsolaro. This is like the biggest gift to Calsolaro he could ever ask for when it comes to fundraising and campaign support. This guy is right on all of the issues that matter to the people of the city. And you are going to go after him? First Ward Common Councilman Dominick Calsolaro — a vocal critic of Mayor Jerry Jennings — said today he expects to lose the backing of his ward committee, which he won in a close vote late last month, because party leaders are calling for a new vote.Yup. Jennings is making the classic mistake. He's in deep trouble. His boy Tuffey is running around committing perjury. Barnette is lawyered up and toking up based on her actions. His puppets on the council are losing their shit and his idea is to go after Calsolaro and try to throw out election results? It's called overreaching. All empires go down this way. I'm not sure Jerry has much of that inner peace the Dali Lama advised him to seek. Perhaps his impending retirement will help with that.
