The Times Union does a good job of summing up the situation in Albany. This is why we need new leadership in Albany. Because the people who currently have the power, have no leadership ability. From their editorial:
This is a test of leadership, and the mayor is failing it.

The T-U gets it wrong AGAIN. First and Lark is in Arbor Hill, not West Hill. Can someone get these guys a map?

The shootings were in front of the spiffy new in-fill housing built by Albany Housing.

This is not a test of leadership.  The Leadership of the only party in Albany, the Democratic Party, is the leadership and Anointed Jennings as Mayor.  You can't blame an imbecile because the leadership placed him in power. Generally people tend to hire others like themselves.  This means that the inner circle of the Democratic Party in Albany are imbeciles also.  You can blame the voters. They were hoodwinked by their own party that they trusted.  The voters got exactly what they wanted.  Jennings did the very best he could.    

If you really don't like him that much and feel your children are not getting educated, that the neighborhoods are unsafe, that your lifestyle has diminished more than in other parts of the country, that you are losing churches, businesses, and newly educated youth, then take some action and draw up a petition for impeachment.  There is plenty of grounds.
