Salvia, I bet Jerry and the Gang will propose banning this soon and why

For those of us who are students on the failed war on drugs, its been a blast from the past in many cities and states across the country. It turns out a common plant known as Salvia is the end of all things to come. It makes the sky fall down and I hear 16 year old white kids might get behind the wheel on it, gasp!!!!!

So why hasn't Jerry and the gang go after it. I mean we all know the War on Drugs has been so successful in Albany. I mean its not like people join gangs, get shot, dealers all over, dirty cops and white kids from the burbs in the hill looking for the Chronic. I guess that's another city. Anyways, Jerry why aren't you banning this plant yet in Albany. It makes you see the world in a different view for 5 mins, just enough time to see that your a loser and a fraud. Think about it, no one in Albany knows Salvia exists, but Chief Tuffey can pulls some fudged numbers out of his ass and you can use this plant to take peoples minds off all the ILLEGAL things you are doing.

They are doing it all over. Sure the economy is crashing, people are losing their homes, highest prison population the country, billions spent on wars, etc etc etc etc X10000000. Nah, Salvia is the real problem guys, go get em, spend millions more, through more people behind bars and get the blames away from you.

Why Bother With Salvia? (none / 0) (#1)

If anyone wants to get a handle on this issue, I suggest that you go out and try salvia while it's still allowed by our idiot authorities.

Once you track down some decent salvia, I suggest that you first get online and learn how to smoke it so that you can actually get an effect.

Once you succeed, you will discover for yourself why it remains legal.  Personally, I have yet to meet ANYONE who likes salvia enough to use it more than a few times.

Sure, making salvia illegal is a great distraction from a failure to govern.  It also gives the police another excuse to disenfranchise citizens.

That's why 50 percent of the people are in jail for drug crimes.  They are casualties of petty political maneuvers.  In that sense you can consider drug "criminals" to be political prisoners.

Just like kids like "Mint" are kidnapped in broad day light and they are found as a pile of bones miles away from Albany. Anyone in the 3rd Ward remember that. No one at City Hall knows who is selling drugs or moving illegal weapons until it is time to throw our family members in prison. It's like the Sheriffs Department and APD have some special "Skynet" GPS system when they go on their raids. We need them to hunt for Osama. Real soon we are all going to suffer together from the years of denial in Albany and D.C. We will stand up for a poor Iraqi kid, but won't give a shit about an American kid in poverty.

The corrupt cops and no backbone of those at the TU, City Hall, Common Council and County Legislature are our America.  We are all going to have a chance real soon to show how "American" and "patriotic" we are. You won't be all to just get on I-87 and speed at 80 miles an hour to avoid things it is going to hit you too. You see some say that American's greatest generation was the post World War II generation. I have this strange feeling that America's greatest generation was created while Carter, and Reagan were shaking hands and playing nice. The greatest generation did not wake up following 9-11 we fought with our friends in combat and many of our brother and sisters went home in boxes. They went home in boxes for what so that a county legislature could be weak and no one in Albany County could stand up for the people. What does being an American mean? I wrapped the coffins of U.S. Soldiers with American Flags before and I wondered why? What does that Flag mean when that soldier's blood represents those stripes. I said bye to my best friend last weekend as he headed back to Iraq and for what so that I could sit back for a second generation and watch politicians in Albany lie and smile.

The next jolt is coming and it is going to wake the greatest generation up and when that election is postponed we are going to take control the way George Washington and John Jay did. Anyone who believes for one moment that anyone in the Sheriffs Department, APD, and the Mayor's Office do not know what is going on in this county needs to have their heads examined. We went to the SIC to be told something we already knew. That like saying we needed France to find Saddam's WMD. We knew the truth about the drugs and guns before the SIC. For the past five decades nothing has changed in Albany wake the fuck up.

I bet if we brought a bunch of U.S. Army Rangers or some SEALS in here we would find out real quick where guns and drugs are coming from. When we backed down following World War II and went home and continued our repressive ways against our own people we made our own fate. As we learned from the Communist Party USA our enemies feed on our division and weaknesses.  Albany's brain child Fed Gov Warsh said the Fed's tools are "powerful". He is right I think this summer is going to bring more than stimulus checks. We are going to get more than a housing reset. I just hope when it happens we all can come together and not simply focus on Bush still being President through 2009. Clinton and Obama think they are tired now just wait until the election is postponed until the fall of 2009.

People are naive and stupid. That is why I bring up the whole new war on Salvia and other natural herbs. Less then 1% of the population knows of them and all studies show they are harmless and have health benefits. Now the media and politicians are making it out like these plants are a huge problem and really telling lies. Its kind of like everything in America lies. The people are to consumed with the idea that the sky is falling and big brother needs to be there to tell them what to do. Were to consumed with looking a certain way, acting a certain way. I witnessed the brainwashing in schools when I was young. Free thinkers and anyone who is different is ruled out and ridiculed, its to manufacture consent and teach a generation to be afraid of anything different then the status quo. I for one never trust what I am told, and I hope to god that people get some balls and a brain and do something.

The other day I walked in front of the bus stop near a clients office and saw some Albany street lunatic drooling down the side of the bus shelter.

Nobody knows that salvia exists, but everyone standing around that bus shelter is well aware of the saliva epidemic.
