Soundpolitic wrote this piece about the race in the 21st at the Daily Kos. In it he mentions this site. My favorite part of the diary is a comment someone made warning Soundpolitic about linking to my site.
That site looks like it might be written by the kind of nut who might make trouble.
Right on, Friendo.

I don't have an account over at DKos, so hopefully you will see this comment here.

On what basis are you making that "crooks for Brooks" crack?  Are there specific people supporting her who are crooks?  Is she herself a crook?

I get that you are trying to make a joke, but slapping the word "crooks" in the title of your post is pretty provocative.  Anything to back it up, or were you just going for the rhyme?

(Disclosure: Tracey Brooks is an old friend of mine.  Please note that this does not mean I am endorsing her, or even that I am voting for her.  If that changes, I'll disclose that too.)

Yes indeed, we need more nuts like you to cause trouble!

Of course, trouble for those who trouble us with their failed policies which do nothing to benefit us and tax us into the poor house.

Too bad Sound P didn't mention your's being the site that helped Mike Stark to prominence. Now that would have generated a few hits!

She is the one who bought all of those Tonko domain names. That's just dirty, shows here true character, the win at all costs type. Thats the problem with politics, we have allowed people who live by the school of Machivelli take over. I have a feeling she is the hand picked candidate by the machine. Just what Albany needs in DC, the reincarnation of Hillary Clinton.

I found your comment when I Googled my handle.

I make the "Crooks for Brooks" rhyme after having been inspired by DIA pointing out that "Bonko for Tonko" had not yet been registered as a domain name.

Over at DailyKos, a provocative title might help draw attention to a little-known Congressional district being contested when everyone over there is HillObama all the time...

And I make the crooks claim because she stole domain names.  Plain and simple.  And you can read into it what you'd like.  It's my little way of pointing out how unethical and inexcusable the practice of cyber-squatting is.  The Internet is the new printing press...do we really have to have a conversation about what is acceptable and what is not?  As bloggers, we're ahead of the game as to proper conduct on the Web, especially when it comes to running honest elections.

I encourage you to join the community at DailyKos, and I'll point out that Albany Layman is my my blogroll at my homepage, soundpolitic.dailykos.com.
