Anyone else find anything odd about the reports on the two people shot at the bar illegally operating as a nightclub?
This is the second violent incident near a city nightclub in two days. Early Friday morning, two people were shot at Club 90 on Central Avenue. One victim, Sonya Holmes-Horne, 19, was released from the hospital Friday. Corey Falcon, 30, underwent surgery for a gunshot wound to the upper chest. His condition is unlisted. The city cited Club 90 for operating as a nightclub without proper licensing.
I guess having 19 year olds in your bar isn't cause for citation? Hopefully the SLA will have a different take on that.

If you value your life I recommend not going to bars on central avenue (or near central). In the last year we had someone shot and killed in front of Yana's Grill, someone critically injured in a stabbing at the Broadway Club and now a multiple shooting at Club 90. Hello, SLA? A bottle over the head barely seems worth mentioning.

In other news a man fired 5 shots into a house in the South End hitting an 18 year old man on the front porch. No arrests have been made and spokesguy Miller says they have no motive. Chief Tuffey was unavailable for comment but we can assume he is confident its not gang related.

If the 19 year old is not being served or provided beer or booze then there isnt a problem with her being there. You only have to be be 21 to be served, not to be in there.

Another case where I know a member of the family, one guy who was shot.  Probably not gang related.
