Remember when Alan Hevesi said this about the Albany Water Authority
“The Albany Water Board and Finance Authority are more examples of very poorly operated public authorities,” Hevesi said. “The result is huge deficits and fast growing costs for Albany water ratepayers.”Remember when your water bills went up dramatically to pay for this mismanagement? Seems like the good old days. Here are the current days The Water Authority owes the city $11,269,800. On August 31, 2004 the Authority owed the city $10.5 million.Makes you wonder where all that money is going. Ha. I kid. We know where the money is going, right?
