Didn't expect this to occur but the piece is certainly worth reading. Times Union associate editor William Dowd has weighed in on the recent media silence regarding the circumstances leading up to the death of Officer Wilcox. He mentions how no one would touch the story except
A couple of tiny voices crying in the wilderness of the blogosphere...Those tiny voices were this site and the AlbanyEye site. Interesting that the authors of the two voices crying out both choose to post anonymously. I think Dowd raises a very important point. Nice piece. If you chose to surf over to his column you can be assured that all the language is PG rated. Surf away. You also should check out Albany Chatter on this issue. The new Metroland also has an editorial that echoes my sentiments on this issue. I can't find it online.
