So a little while back Joe Bruno was down in Florida partying with Donald Trump at some high end resort. Who was paying for the trip? Why, his campaign donors, of course. He was working hard for the citizens of NY down there in Florida. Hey, if you had $2.5 million in your campaign fund you'd probably do it to, right?
And check this one out: For example, the report says that Sen. Martin Connor, D-Brooklyn, spent more than $70,000 of his campaign funds since July 2003 on car expenses, including the cost of the car, repairs and keeping it in a garage near his home.Pimp that ride!! $70,000K? Wow. I hope he's got the hydraulic shocks for that kind of money. So, its pretty clear that the political system in NY is a complete joke and totally corrupted by money. Spitzer is talking about campaign finance reform, as is Weld. If you are interested in helping you can chip in $5 here to move some Clean Money legislation forward.
