I got an e-mail from a reader that points out the obvious.
Everyone says we need a convention center, region will benefit blah, blah blahThis brings up a great point. There is a convention center in Albany. Conveniently located right at the Empire State Plaza. In all the planning for the new tax payer funded convention center no one has told us what we are going to do with current convention center space once the new one is built. Planning like that could only be found in the public sector. Abandoning your current working facility in a super prime location?.....got no plans for the space?....no worries...the taxpayers will pay for both.
