DA investigates former AG

Lobbying must be a very tricky business because it really seems to make criminals out of a lot of people. So, Vacco apparently was set to make millions from indian tribes for his work on casinos....personally i think he must be innocent. Who ever heard of something as crazy as a big time lobbyist making millions off of indian tribes for his work on casinos? (Abramoff gets his first sentence next week)
Albany County District Attorney David Soares' office is looking into a deal former Attorney General Dennis Vacco arranged that would have given him millions of dollars if an Indian tribe built a casino in New York.

See this is why it is sooooooo important to buy the Albany DA's race. Unlike other county DA's ours can prosecute virtually anyone in the state of New York!

I saw King Kong Gilkey stalking the streets. He is scaaarrrrry.  I cant believe that such threats are allowed to walk free.

Those special interests that supported the Soares campaign are getting their payback now!  I can only imagine who's getting rich off this prosecution!

And what the hell is a DA doing ensuring free and fair elections when we still have violent crime?  We need to ignore election fraud and all other public corruption until we have eliminated all violent crime in the County... hell, the Country!  No elections till our teenage daughters can walk the streets at 2am and the trains run on time!  Democracy is a nice idea, but we can't let it run our lives!

Thank God for you Al!  For standing up for the way things always were! We used to look the other way when lobbyists committed minor felonies.  That way we could focus all our energies on putting petty addicts away for 20 years.  Now, not only are we distracted from that mission, but we're getting in the way of bold leadership at both the City and State level!

Thank you Al, for standing up for the way things have always been.  Thank you.

Actually the status quo is to use your office to support your friends, punish your political enemies and do nothing for the people that supported you.

Ever heard the WHO song about being fooled again?

Would anyone like to discuss the wreck over the weekend? This is exactly what happens when you have no chase policies.  Don't want a ticket. All you have to do is run.

My prayers are with his family.
