For some reason its not in the online version but there is a great quote from our old friend Maureen Donovan. Speaking on behalf of the Sweeney campaign she says
"Anything from our side is true".That is rich. As she has been caught in several blatant lies up to this point already. But she follows it up with another lie. She claims the Gillibrand campaign is attacking Big John's family. Big John even made an ad where he pretends to be Mr. Rogers. His wife play the role of Queen Sara Saturday, the honorable woman who Big John claims has been attacked. Anyway, back to that truth that Donovan claims she is so fond of....want to provide some examples of these attacks on Sweeney's family... Asked to provide examples, Donovan cited no instances involving Gillibrand or her campaign. Donovan herself has made numerous comments about several Gillibrand family members.See how that works? First you tell a lie. Then you brag about how you only tell the truth. Its the SOP for modern Republicans. Just ask Duke Cunningham. Or Tom Delay. Or Jack Abramoff. Or Bob Ney. Or Mark Foley. Or Tom Reynolds. I could go on. But lets get back to our local liars. I wonder what its like to work in an office where you know that everyone is lying all the time. Sweeney: Who is taking care of the get out the vote efforts? I'm thinking we should use horses to pick up our supporters. Donovan: I've already talked to the stable. Its all set. Sweeney: Can anyone else confirm that...I've learned not to believe a thing that comes out of this woman's mouth? Anyone?
