I feel like a little bit of a jerk for having not made the 7th ward debate tonight. I would have liked to have recorded and reported on it. But, I gotta tell y'all...
This baby thing is something else. She's up till at least three every morning. Ugh. She's a beautiful girl, but when she's got her lungs cranked to full throttle at three AM, well... Anyway... I'm not done making excuses yet. I began taking the required classes for real estate sales people this morning. 8:00 AM to 5 PM. Fun, fun. Real edge of your seat stuff. I tried mainlining espresso. It didn't work. I'll try rubbing habenero peppers on my mucous membranes Friday (next class day)... something's gonna hafta keep me awake. Alright - I'm done with the excuse making. My point is this: I'm gonna do my best to do what I can in terms of bringing you whatever interesting news I can (that you can't get by opening up the TU) with regards to Albany's storied electoral politics. I gotta think that some sort of routine will develop sooner or later. In the meantime, things'll be hit or miss. Finally - I was not accepted off the waitlist by the last law school I had a chance of attending. I'll tell ya... I'm not half as disappointed as I would have been if I had received the news a month ago. Having had Antigone for three weeks, I'm not sure that I'll ever want to take on something as all-consuming as the first year of law school (though I'm positive I will next year). She's been incredible and I'm really looking forward to a year of wondrous discovery as I watch her develop.
