I'll address the last part of your post, first.  Both of those officers who were suspended didn't receive pay for the first 30 days and after that time period, they were placed back on the payroll.  But that fact has little to do with the union contract, it has more to do with the New York State Civil Service Law.  So if you have a complaint, you should go talk to all your liberal politician friends who passed that legislation.  You know, the ones that make 60k for 60 days of work.  

And I do know one thing, after your sorry attempt at humor.  You have no idea what the answer is.  And unlike you, I went and found out.  According to my sources, there have been several officers disciplined over the last several month, one even being suspended.  And none of these officers were the high profile cases that you're talking about.  

You are the perfect example of what they say about someone who has a little knowledge of a subject............. they're dangerous.
